excellent transportation network including Interstate highway and rail access makes all of these population centers easily accessible.  Additionally, the secondary markets of Scranton PA, Williamsport PA, Elmira/Corning NY, Rochester NY, and Binghamton NY are strongly linked to our area.

Resource-based industries thrive in our area due to the abundance of hardwood timber, bluestone, and agricultural commodities.  Also, manufacturing and technology industries have great success here largely because of our region’s workforce.  An agricultural heritage and a strong manufacturing influence have combined to shape a dedicated and talented employment base.  Workers in Bradford and Susquehanna Counties are recognized for their work ethic,
dependability, loyalty, independent thinking skills, and problem solving abilities.  This is a highly non-union environment
with reasonable wage levels.  Pennsylvania’s low tax and utility rates are also very attractive to businesses.
